M.I.A.'s politicking never goes unnoticed, but there's something so disturbing about this video it makes one ponder to what lengths can an artist go before their message is overshadowed by that message's vessel. But the other side of that is that this video isn't nearly as senseless as the genocide it's mocking. Yeah, of course the video is violent and offensive, but why get up in arms over this and not about real-life atrocities committed in the third world? Maybe something like this is what it takes for listeners to actually listen to what she has to say.
